The Beatles’ famous rooftop show took place on 30 January 1969 on the roof of Apple Corps building in London. The concert was planned during a meeting on 26 January.
The 42-minute show has passed into history as the Beatles’ last live performance, even if it couldn’t be classified as a concert.
The show includes Billy Preston performing at keyboards. Although it wasn’t the first time a guest artist performed with the Beatles, this is the only appearance credited on the label, as the single released on 11 April 1969 is credited to “The Beatles with Billy Preston”.
The tracklist includes Get Back (three versions), Don’t Let Me Down (two versions), I’ve Got A Feeling (two versions), The One After 909, Dig A Pony.
Part of the show was used for the Let It Be film and album.
