The Beatles record From Me to You, 5 March 1963

In February / March 1963 the Please Please Me album had not yet been released, but a new single of the Beatles was needed, so George Martin scheduled a recording session for Tuesday 5 March.
The boys were in their first national tour with singer Helen Shapiro and fortunately John and Paul had written From Me To You some days earlier.
They had prepared songs for the session: From Me to You, Thank You Girl, The One after 909 and What Goes On, but they only had time for the first two and some takes of The One After 909.
